Announcing a RADIO BROADCAST AGREEMENT with KTRB 860 AM and an expanded partnership with KHTK–AM 1140 in Sacramento. The dual stations, along with 17 additional radio network affiliates, will provide the largest coverage map ever for A’s baseball. KTRB 860 AM will air every game and KHTK-AM 1140 will air every game, minus Sacramento Kings game conflicts.
We’re also partnering with TuneIn, the leading global live audio streaming service. In addition to free live streaming of all games in-territory, TuneIn will launch a 24/7 A’s channel. The A’s TuneIn channel will air exclusive team content, including special programming and podcasts.
The dynamic duo of Ken Korach and Vince Cotroneo return to call games, with special appearances by Ray Fosse throughout the season. We’ll debut expanded pre and postgame shows – A’s Total Access and A’s Clubhouse – hosted by Chris Townsend. KIQI (1010 AM, San Francisco) and KATD (990 AM, Pittsburg) will serve as our Spanish-language home, broadcasting 72 games. Amaury Pi-González and Manolo Hernández-Douen return to the booth. ... UGH still with KATA 1340 Eureka. That station BLOWS. They dump out of A's games ALL THE TIME. I don't know how many times they do this but they frequently get the timing off on the broadcasts where during the game they drop out of the game go to local ads for 3 minutes, return to the game, then the game goes to mid inning break and then the main A's ads play.
Incredible to me that MLB won’t just allow radio broadcasts of games to be streamed online regardless of location. It’s radio, for crissakes! A technology that has been around since 1920! How many people can possibly still be listening to AM radio anyway? Can’t they just free it up? Incredible.
Great. I just reprogrammed my car buttons. No more FM sports.

KTRB is A 50,000 watt day 5000 watt night time signal. How does this reach anyone over 15 miles in any direction from the Coliseum at night? In comparison Kgmz AM 1550 affiliate is a 10,000 watt all day station and was very weak all the time. Oh well I guess TV for all night games. Sorry Towney! I guess I might get 1140 KHTK better at night as it's a 50,000 watt all day station.
